Street Map

Using Stratus Map you can display a street map for any individual listing or public record. (Additional street map functions are available for Mapping Listing Search Results and Mapping Public Records Search Results.)

A marker flags the location of the listing or public record property on the map. For listings, the color of the marker indicates the listing status (e.g., available, closed). See the key at the bottom of the map. All public record markers are red.

You can adjust the view of the street map using the zoom and direction buttons; see below.

Stratus offers additional features at the map view:

Feature

Details

Points of interest

Points of Interest automatically display at the 2-mile and closer zoom levels. Each site is flagged with a descriptive marker (e.g., indicates a school). See the key for definitions of the marker symbols. Move the mouse pointer over any marker to display the name of the point of interest. Click on the marker for details. Close the details window when finished.

Driving directions

At any zoom level, you can generate driving directions to a listing or public record address from any starting point. (See Driving Directions.)

Radius Search from this location (available for listings only)

You can perform a Radius Search from the center point of the displayed map. (See Radius Searches.)

NOTE: Certain listings and public records cannot be geocoded, and therefore will not display on the street map. If any of the following fields are incorrect or missing: address, city, state, or zip; or the street name or number doesn't exist in the database (it may be a new house on an old street or a brand new street) the property may not display on the map. The ML# (or in the case of a public record, the parcel ID#) displays at the right under the heading "Could not be located".
